Palsgaard achieves Gold ratings from EcoVadis
Being already deeply committed to strategic CSR and reporting in conformity with GRI G4 principles, in addition to supporting the UN Global Compact through several years, Palsgaard has a fundamental CSR strategy and policies well implemented, the requirements set out by EcoVadis were met without difficulty.
By receiving the Gold Recognition Level Palsgaard is included among the top 5% performers evaluated by EcoVadis.
CO2-neutrality as part of the package
Energy and environment weigh considerably in the EcoVadis assessment system and as such Palsgaard’s intensive work on CO2 neutrality has played an important role within this category of the assessment.
Achieving CO2 -neutrality in 2020 is a main target for all Palsgaard production sites. Working hard to reduce energy consumption and operating with green energy sources Palsgaard obtained CO2 neutrality for our Danish plant in 2015. But the efforts don’t stop here; projects on CO2-neutrality for our sites in Holland, Mexico and Malaysia are ongoing.
Our well anchored CSR policies and continuous development in sustainability issues add value to our products, to our customers and to the supply chain in general.
